My Bio

I’ve always been passionate about writing and reading. My journey from simply loving books to writing books has been quite an adventure. I love engaging with the projects I work on, diving headfirst into researching, planning, and writing the stories that simply refuse to be left unwritten. I've written many books, and for so long I've just kept them to myself, but now I've begun the journey of having them published. As a junior high English teacher, I figured it was time to practice what I preach to my students about writing to an audience. You are my audience. And my stories are for you.

This is the story of 18 year-old Amber who is desperate to feel something other than the pain and self-loathing that she has been living with since her mother abandoned her without a word of explanation. In her search for an escape from her pain, Amber meets Mason, another mentally fragile soul.

I’ve been working on this latest book for quite some time now, and can’t wait for you to read it. This book first started out as just an tiny idea and a couple of pages in a Word document over eight years ago, but for years I would think about it and wonder where the story would go.
